The sheriff wouldn't be able to do anything, but it would start the paper trail. Since the notes are unsigned, I called a friend who is with law enforcement & an attorney, they both stated unless Berney's friend can prove who is leaving the notes and/or filming the house, they will not be able to do anything. It becomes Berney's burden of proof - in other words they will have to get the house set up with cameras & film who is doing the deeds. I think that there seems to be issues with a few of the neighbors in that area. It's too bad that these types of issues are happening especially in these hard times.
